(Pyro goes off and camera shows the Grand Festival logo, from there it goes to Mike Tenay and Vince Russo)
Mike Tenay: Good evening ladies & gentlemen, we are live for this very special edition of Friday Night Evolution in celebration of the new brand Underground
Vince Russo: Yes, we are live in beautiful San Antonio and just listen to this jam packed audience (Camera pans out towards the audience)
Mike Tenay: This really is amazing, we just announced that this show was going to happen on Monday and 4 days later the place, San Antonio here and it's sold out
Vince Russo: Well I came back Monday morning and found out the President was stuck due to the snow in New York with the number of superstars stuck with him including our champion Raven. But as I always say the show must go on...
Mike Tenay: Indeed it must, well let's take a look at the card tonight (pauses and vids are shown of the superstars) In the main event, we have the debut of The Rock, and he will go one on one with (pauses) are you serious? The Rock will go one on one against the Undertaker and the winner will be Raven's opponent at Grand Festival?
Vince Russo: You read correct Mike, with Cena being fired we neeed a new #1 contender for Raven's title
("Slow Chemical" hits and Kane goes down to the ring)
Mike Tenay: And we're kicking things off tonight with the big red machine, Kane
Vince Russo: I have a new found respect for this guy, he was going to help me get rid of Nick, but apparently (as vid is shown of the President firing Nick) the President didn't want to wait 3 weeks to take out the trash
(Kane sets his pyros off in the ring)
Tenay: Ok, Russo, Kane is in the ring but who's his opponent?
(Abyss's music hits and he comes down to the ring with James Mitchell)
Tenay: That's a FPV quality match if I've ever seen one...
Vince Russo: Listen at Grand Festival we may be having a Monster's Ball match, but tonight Abyss and Kane is going to get out some pent-up agression
Opening Match
Abyss w/ James Mitchell vs Kane
(Kane & Abyss has been going back and forth all night... but Abyss begins to overpower Kane)
Vince: This is freaky, Tenay. Abyss is so damn strong.
Tenay: My days in TNA has shown Abyss had what it takes to be champion there and he may have it to be a champion in MWC
(Abyss throws Kane off the ropes but misses the Big boot, as Kane comes off the rebound he lands a running Yazuka kick)
Vince: Wow, Abyss' head should be gone
(Kane picks Abyss up off the mat with both hands around his neck. Kane takes Abyss and tosses him into the corner turnbuckle)
Tenay: James Mitchell's face is looking as red as his suit and Kane is landing shot after shot to Abyss
Vince: He's reeling Tenay
Tenay: Kane... Irish whip to the opposite corner... reversal... big body splash by Abyss
Vince: Don't let Abyss get started
(Abyss grabs Kane and drops him with a Sidewalk slam....pins....2-count...Abyss looks toward Mitchell)
Tenay: I know that sign... the button's been pressed I think we're going to see Kane hit Doomsday
Vince: Shock Treatment coming..
(Abyss picks up Kane....Shock Treatment connects...)
Vince: It's over here...1...2... kick out!
Tenay: Did Kane... just kicked out?
Vince: I think Abyss is in shock...(As Mitchell is looking in the ring, mouth wide open) so is Mitchell
(Abyss gets up and pulls his hand back and prepares for a chokeslam....)
Vince: This should do it... chokeslam coming....
(Abyss grabs Kane's neck but Kane grabs Abyss by the neck...and starts to squeeze)
Tenay: He's choking the life out of him.... Abyss is going down to one knee! This is unbelievable!
Vince: Picks him up... Chokeslam by Kane! Damn, that looks like it hurts
Tenay: (Hebner counts the 3) And thats it...
Winner Kane
Time: 6:45
Vince Russo: Damn, that's what I call an opening match
Tenay: (As Kane sets off his fire) Looks like he has the upper hand going into Monster's Ball
Vince: Sure looks like it... I think Mitchell is going to think twice before having Abyss go toe-to-toe with Kane again
Tenay: And the night has just started, we still have The Rock vs The Undertaker coming up in our main event
Vince: That we do, by the way that match just reminded me....
Tenay: Another annoucement?
Vince: Sure is, the Monster's Ball match will now be for the MWC Underground Hardcore Championship for the new Underground brand
Tenay: (As Kane stands and looks at Abyss slowly goes up the ramp)The surprises just keep on coming...

(Commercial for World Premeire DVD airs and we cut to the backstage area where we see Chris Jericho with JB)
JB: I'm here now with Chris Jericho and apparent...
(Jericho grabs the mic)
Jericho: Damn it Edge, you had to go and get youself fired, thanks to you Vince put me in a 1 on 1 match with Bret Hart at Grand Festival
(Cuts to crowd)
Tenay: You did?
Russo: Bet your ass I did, I can do that you know...
(Back to Jericho)
Jericho: It doesn't matter though, at Grand Festival I'll show the Shitman why I'am Chris Jericho, The King Of The World!
Russo: He's cocky and that's why i like him
Tenay: I think Jericho will be glad someone does
(Back to ring, "Invasion" hits and Goldberg comes to the ring)
Tenay: And here comes Goldberg one of MWC's most dominate forces in wrestling
Vince Russo: Well hes got his hands full tonight with...
(X-Pac's music hits as he comes down to the ring)
Tenay: Here's a man who's competed everywhere, from WWE to TNA to WSX, and has made a name for himself in every brand
Vince: A true "wherever he lay his hat, is his home" type wrestler, let's see how he does against Goldberg
Match 2
X-Pac vs Goldberg
(X-Pac is making his usual DX suck it chop...Goldberg tries to swing at him but X-Pac is too fast for him)
Tenay: X-Pac has a speed advantage in this match
Vince: But for how long ?
(Goldberg tries another overpowering clothesline but misses and X-Pac catches him with a standing swift kick, X-Pac taunts to the crowd and turns his back to Goldberg)
Vince: I don't think he liked that too much
(As X-Pac turns around Goldberg catches him with a spear)
Tenay: (As Goldberg does his "cut throat" taunt) And I think it may be time for a Jackhammer
(Goldberg picks up X-Pac...)
Vince: And there it is, Jackhammer... I think the ring moved an inch or two...1... 2... 3 and it's over

Vince Russo: Yep... Hey Tenay, remember all that stuff I said about Goldberg having his hands full?
Tenay: Yeah?
Vince: I lied...
(As Goldberg celebrates "Break The Walls Down" hits and Chris Jericho comes down to the ring with mic in hand)
Tenay: He sure didn't waste time to come from backstage to out here in the arena
Vince: It's called spunk, Tenay, and Jericho has a boat load of it...
Jericho: (Looking at the camera) Like I was saying, I'm sick of this place, first you fire my tag team partner, next you put me in a match with Bret Hart at (In cheap spanish accent) Grand Festival, and now im not even on tonight's card... I get replaced by the walking ape... Goldberg
(As Jericho turns around and faces the crowd, Goldberg gets pissed and sets up for the spear)
Jericho: And you assclowns (he turns around and gets speared)
Vince Russo: Damn! Goldberg just speared him straight to hell
Mike Tenay: I guess Goldberg took exception to what he said...I would hate to be called a walking ape too.. When we come back we'll hear from Evolution's World Heavyweight Champion Raven...
("Invasion" plays and Goldberg leaves....commercial break)

Mike Tenay: Raven's a smart man, everything he says has a meaning to it... even if it confuses everyone else
Vince: Next commercial break do me a favor? Explain what was the meaning behind that...
(Iceman Dean James music hits and he comes out carrying both of his belts)
Vince russo: This next match should be awesome, this man is the future of our company
Mike Tenay: No doubt about it, Iceman has proven himself time & time again but who is his opponent
Vince Russo: Ah, opponents Mike
(One by one Jeff Hardy, Jay Lethal, Super Crazy, Jack Evans comes out)
Vince russo: (Stands up and grabs a mic) Just so you all know this is a battle royale... anything goes and the winner will be the new Lightheavyweight Champion...there's someone missing...
(Ultimo Dragon appears and puts a shock on everyone's face)
Mike tenay: Oh My God, if the sudden annoucement wasn't enough... that's Ultimo Dragon... one of the greatest Lucha Libre light-heavyweights of the wrestling world
Vince: The President isn't the only one with some connections around here
Match 3:
Battle Royale For Myspace.com Presents MWC Light-Heavyweight Title
Iceman Dean James (c) vs Jack Evans vs Jeff Hardy vs. Super Crazy vs. Jay Lethal vs. Ultimo Dragon
(The obvious faces [Iceman, Lethal & Hardy] start off with hand-to-hand shots to the heels' until the heels [Dragon, Evans & Crazy] catch Iceman, Lethal & Hardy with standing hurricanrana's)
Tenay: Beautiful triple hurricanrana's connect by Ultimo Dragon, Jack Evans & Super Crazy
Vince: It's the light-weight division people. Don't be fooled by there size they can get it on in the ring
(Evans & Iceman get into it as Evans lands a one arm overhead snapmare takedown into a standing moonsault)
Tenay: It's champion versus former champion going at it here
Vince: But this match shouldn't be about a rivalry. Dammit, the title is on the line kick his ass personally later
(Crazy comes off the ropes, ducks Jay Lethal's clothesline and connects Evans with a Spinning Heel Kick over Iceman... But as Super Crazy turns around, Ultimo Dragon kicks Crazy with a Front Dropkick into the corner)
Vince: Ah, I love wildcards like Ultimo Dragon. You just don't know what you gonna get
Tenay: Speaking of that...he runs up Super Crazy's chest into a monkey flip moonsault but Iceman moves...but Ultimo lands on his feet...but I think he landed hard
Vince: (As Ultimo kneels down) I think so cause it looks like he's asking Super Crazy to marry him
Tenay: Look out! Here comes Jeff Hardy!
(As Ultimo is at one knee... Jeff uses his back as a springboard)
Tenay: Poetry In Motion connects!
(Looking confused, Ultimo Dragon stands up, turns around and walks into a Evans snapmanre, kicks him in the back, runs off the ropes and hits a dropkick to the face)
Tenay: Snapmare-to-dropkick combination by Jack Evans
Vince: But don't taunt too much
(Once Evans is up, Iceman's two standing enziguri's lands flush but Lethal connects the Super Kick to finish the Standing Ovation)
Tenay: Iceman looks surprised but they both bow
Vince: (As the crowd chants "That Was Awesome") And it looks like the crowd liked it...
Tenay: But look at Jeff Hardy going for the pin...but Iceman & Lethal are right there to pull him off
Vince: (While Jeff, Jay & Dean argue) Looks like there breaking ranks between these good friends
Tenay: But watch Super Crazy!
(Super Crazy is on the top rope... jumps... and Iceman & Lethal duck as Crazy lands the crossbody on Jeff)
Tenay: Looks like there still standing....but watch Jack Evans
(Jack runs off the ropes and also attempts a crossbody to catch both of them but Iceman & Lethal duck yet again as Evans sails to the outside hard)
Vince: That didn't look comforting.....wait... is Dean & Jay playing Rock - Paper - Scissors
Tenay: They sure are... It looks like there playing to see who will jump out first to land on Evans
Vince: I'd hate to be Jack
(Iceman wins the game and, as Evans tries to stand and recover, Iceman pulls back on the top rope and lands a body press.... Then Ultimo Dragon comes out of nowhere, leapfrogs Lethal and lands a Suicide Springboard Plancha... Lethal, feeling left out, runs off the ropes, and sends himself into the mess outside with a Corkscrew Moonsault...)
Tenay: It's like a car crash out here, Vince. There are bodies everywhere.
Vince: Except two...
(Super Crazy is about to jump as well but as he bounces off the ropes Jeff Hardy slides in and kicks him in the gut into a Twist Of Fate.. And while everyone is still outside hurt...)
Tenay: I think it's time... Swanton Bomb on Super Crazy
(Hebner counts the three)
Vince: And it's over.... Jeff took advantage of everyone being outside...
Winner: Jeff Hardy
Time: 12:01
Tenay: Jeff Hardy! Jeff wins the match! Jeff is your new MWC Light-Heavyweight Champion.. what a finish ladies & gentlemen
Vince: I knew it was a good idea to put...(Vince Russo's cell rings) Well, well, well... (It's the President)
Vince Russo: (As he hangs up) Wow, he 1-Uped me all the way from N.Y.
Tenay: Was that The President?
Vince: Sure was... Well i guess I'll announce it... (playfully) dammit I hate when he does that (he picks up a mic) I was just on the phone my boss, President Tagliaern and he's annouced that next week on Evolution, the main event will be Chris Jericho going 1 on 1 with Goldberg (Crowd cheers) Also, we will have the official contract signing of whoever wins the Rock/Undertaker match & Raven
Mike Tenay: (As Vince sits) That's huge! Jericho versus Goldberg on Monday and the contract signing for Grand Festival but up next it's the last spot for the Story of A Champion Match and it's next
(Commercial break)

(As the commercials come back "Self High Five" is playing)
Mike tenay: Well, this is the match for the last spot in the Story of A Champion match
Vince Russo: It's been a while since we've seen DDP
Tenay: No kidding the last time we've seen him he was getting his head bashed into a locker a week ago when Abyss arrived
Vince: This would be a good Welcome Back present
("Missteerrrrr Kennnneeddyyy" plays as he walks down the ramp)
Vince: And here's another guy I like.... Mr. Kennedy
Tenay: Another Jericho, this man has talked his way into the spotlight on WWE's Smackdown!
Vince: Yeah, but let's see if Kennedy can prove himself tonight...
(As Kennedy enters the ring, he raises his hand and the mic lowers)
Mr.Kennedy: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, with a 10-minute time limit... Tonight, I weight in at an astonishing 245 lbs... I hail from Green.. Bay... Wisconsin........... I'am Misssssssttttteeeeeeeeerrrrrr Kennnnnneeeddyyyy (long pause as he goes to the second rope ) Kennnnnneeeddyyyy!
Match 4: Final spot for Story of A Champion Match
Mr. Kennedy vs DDP
(Collar elbow tie-up between Kennedy and DDP as it turns into a power struggle)
Tenay: There looking pretty equal here, Vince...but Kennedy total disrespect just slaps DDP in the face
Vince: And it doesn't look like DDP like that
(DDP slaps Kennedy, kicks him and lands a Swinging Neckbreaker)
Tenay: And there's the pin attempt... 2- count
(DDP starts to stomp on Kennedy until he catches one of DDP's kicks, turns it into a Dragon Screw takedown)
Vince: Tenay, I think your boy is hurt
Tenay: Good observation, Vince. DDP is limping...and look at Kennedy... he sees oppritunity
Vince: Like a shark that smells blood...Flair-like elbow to that patella
Tenay: Great use of the body part
Vince: Thanks, I know a little something something
(Over the course of the match, Kennedy works on DDP's leg with a Single Leg Crab, Boston Crab & a Figure Four)
Tenay: Kennedy looks frustrated. DDP will not tap out.
Vince: But DDP is hurting bad. He's working on the left leg all night.
Tenay: Your right, Vince. Senior Referee Ear Hebner may have to stop the match
Vince: What? Not on my show
(Kennedy taunts to the crowd as DDP is grabbing his leg in pain...signals to the crowd)
Vince: Kennedy as made a lock signal with his fingers... the hell is he doing?
Tenay: Picks DDP up... hooks his leg...
Vince: True old school... Fisherman's Suplex
Tenay: He's not kicking out (As Hebner calls the 3) and it's over...
Winner: Mr. Kennedy

Tenay: Another loss for DDP...
Vince russo: That means Mr. Kennedy.....Wait what is he doing?
(Kennedy goes to the top rope as DDP is laid out..)
Mike tenay: Kenton Bomb with authority!
Vince Russo: Dammit, that's just wrong... the man was trying to get up... it's bad enough he's hurt
(Ken Shamrock's music hits and he runs to the ring)
Mike Tenay: Wait a minute.. There's Ken Shamrock!... another man in the Story of A Champion match, and look there's Eugene coming from the crowd
Vince Russo: And look whos got his head popping out of the ring... The Boogeyman..creepy guy man
(As they hit the ring, Eugene, Shamrock & Boogeyman stare Kennedy down....he looks at all three of them and then rolls out the ring)
Mike Tenay: Looks like Kennedy didn't expect that to happen
Vince: In a match like the Story of A Champion and the stakes are so high, you have to expect everything
Tenay: Well there you have it, (as the camera flashes at Eugene, Shamrock & Boogeyman in the ring & Kennedy outside the ring) The 4 men who will compete in the Story of A Champion match... Will Kennedy be ready?...
(As the camera gets a close up on Kennedy's face its fades to black and goes to a commercial break)

Mike Tenay: Sure am, ladies & gentlemen... its time for the main event of the evening
("Ministry" hits and the Undertaker comes down to the ring seemingly floating on the smoke around the ring)
Mike tenay: And here comes the Phenom, The Undertaker, he dominated WWE with his 14 and 0 Wrestlemania record & also a 4 time WWE Champion. Can he get it done tonight?
("If You Smell" hits and here comes The Rock)
Vince Russo: The Most Electrifying Man In Sports Entertaiment... This guy The Rock has impressed me, he gave up the multi-million dollar contract to wrestle again and all he asked was to be put in this match
Mike Tenay: He has something to prove, to prove in his words, that without a shadow of a doubt he still has what it takes to live up to his Great One image... Let's go to Jimmy Lennon Jr. for the introductions..
(In the ring...)
Jimmy Lennon Jr: Welcome to fight fans to this special Evolution/Underground night, ladies and gentlemen, It’s time now for our main event of the evening…introducing first to my left… weighing in at 275 lbs, from Miami, Florida, the Peoples Champion, The Rock! (the Rock smells the air and the people go nuts)... and his opponent, to my right, from Death Valley, weighing in at 305 lbs, he is the Phenom, The Undertaker! (the camera does a close-up on his eyes and as usual all you can see is white which shows on the Titantron and the crowd cheers)
Main Event : Winner to face Raven at Grand Festival
The Undertaker vs The Rock
(The Rock & Undertaker stare each other down not moving an inch...until...)
Tenay: The Rock with a right hands to Undertaker... but he's not even phased by it
Russo: Hey Rock, he's the Phenom, you need more than a few straight right hand
(Rock bounces off the rope but catches a boot for his trouble)
Russo: And all the Undertaker needs is a boot to your face
(As Rock gets up, Taker grabs his arm and applies a Arm Wrench and lifts Rock high in the air, drops him and as he twists his arm again, Taker tosses his clear across the ring)
Russo: This is why I cannot understand why anyone would want to get in the ring with the Undertaker
Tenay: A 16-year vet in wrestling, he knows the ins & outs of that ring
(Taker grabs Rock's arm again but this time sets up for Old School)
Tenay: Here it comes... Old School connects classic Undertaker.
Russo: And he tries a straight right shot but Rocky ducks
Tenay: Kicks him in the gut... DDT by the Rock... pin attempt... 2-count
(Rocky starts to dominate the match with his trademark rights into his Spit-to-hand-Smack-to-face haymaker)
Russo: Now, Taker is reeling after that shot. He's on the ropes, going on the defensive
Tenay: Rock tosses Taker off the ropes... Running DDT counter by The Undertaker
Russo: That's a veteran move, Tenay
(As The Rock is on the ground, Taker begins his ground offense with grinding his forearm across his face)
Tenay: Taker gets up... bounces off the ropes....big Leg Drop by the Undertaker... goes for the pin... 2-count
Russo: Taker is looking frustrated...
Tenay: (As the Undertaker puts his hands around The Rock's neck) Can you tell he's trying to choke the life out of him
(As Taker grabs the Rock and lifts him in a double chokehold maneuver off the mat, Rock tries to break his grip with forearm shots to Taker arms but he's too strong! Rock gets tossed into the corner turnbuckle)
Tenay: And Taker begins his assault in the corner... this is why he's known as the best pure striker in wrestling
Russo: My friend, Tazz, calls them soup bowls but i call them meteors because they look like their leaving dents in Rock's face
Tenay: I agree. Rocky looks lost
(Taker picks the Rock up... lands the Snake Eyes as he bounces off thr ropes lands a boot)
Russo: Not good, The Rock is bleeding like a stuffed pig
Tenay: And Undertaker looks like he's gonna bake him straight to hell...(Taker raises his right-hand)..because here comes a Chokeslam
(The Rock, with spagehtti legs, tries to get up... out the corner of his eye, he senses the Chokeslam and grabs Nick Patrick to stand...pushes him into the nearby ropes)
Tenay: Taker's hand is latched in but the Rock kicks him in the groin
Russo: Smart, throw the ref somewhere to the point it will take him awhile to recover, just enough time to play some soccer with your opponent's groin area
(As Taker is on the mat in pain, The Rock is in his Rockbottom setup)
Tenay: Here it comes....Rock Bottom... Rock Bottom connects...here's the pin....2-count!
Russo: What is this the night of kicking out of finishers. I can't believe it...
Tenay: Believe it, Vince. But the Rock looks like he's going for the...no, not the People's Elbow...what the..
Russo: Ah, one of the greatest submission moves of all time, the Rock has the Sharpshooter latched in
Tenay: But will Taker tap?
(Taker crawls to the ropes but Rock pulls him back to the middle of the ring...)
Tenay: And he may tap he.... no, he's lifting his legs?...
Russo: What's he doing?
Tenay: The Rock let go of the Sharpshooter!... Taker just used his legs to flip the Rock out of the Sharpshooter
(Taker rolls over as Rock is down.... Undertaker gets up as the Rock spins around)
Tenay: Taker has him by the neck again....but he turns him upside down
Russo: Is it...
Tenay: Yes it is! Tombstone Piledriver... And Taker (1).... is going (2)... to the (3) Festival

("Come Out and Play" hits and Raven comes to the ramp, with two Undertaker crosses on the sides of him)
Mike tenay: What's Raven doing here? I thought he was stuck in snow with the President?
Vince Russo: He's the champion Tenay, he probably got out which means he's been here all night...
Mike Tenay: Then where's everyone else? This makes no sense?!?
Vince Russo: Remember this is Raven we're talking about... nothing makes sense
(At the ramp, Raven raises his mic)
Raven: Undertaker, for many years you took your opponents and hung them to these very crosses, Now this will be your undoing because in your title match against me, the match will be a crucifacation match, The only way to win is to strap your opponent to your symbol
Undertaker: (Raises his arms and the arena changes to a dark purple color with a dim white light shines on him and talks without a mic) Raven, the eyes of the dragon are staring at your rotted soul and they have ordered me to take it from you... along with your title... Raven you will Rest... In... Peace
Raven: Actually, I doubt that
(Undertaker gets pissed, throws his arms up and the crosses get set on fire, an astonished Raven jumps back scared)
Mike tenay: Undertaker will face Raven for the Myspace.com World Heavyweight Championship at Grand Festival Numero Uno but the contract signing will be next Monday. For Vince Russo, I'm Mike Tenay...that's all from...
Vince Russo: No it isn't... We still have some time... cut to a commercial
(Backstage hesitates as the camera is still on Vince Russo, commercial break eventually comes)

Vince Russo: Okay, we're back, send him out, since he wants it so bad
(Glass shatters hits and Stone Cold hits the ring [Note]: In this promo (what) and (hell yeah) reps the people saying what and hell yeah)
Stone Cold: Hulk hogan, you immortal bastard, Even though you accepted my challenge...by the way thank you, it's a free pass to kick you ass... but I havent seen you since son... (what) your kin (what) little bugger (what) offspring (what) Why don't we give these people a little preview of Grand Festival (the crowd chants as Stone Cold takes his vest off) If you want to see me kick Hulk Hogan's ass right now gimme a hell yeah (hell yeah!)
("Real American" hits and Hulk Hogan comes to the ramp, it's a mixed reaction as he rips his shirt off, points to Austin, and then the Grand Festival logo... as he flexes his last time the Titantron shows an image of the Containment Cell)
