Mike Tenay: Ladies & Gentlemen, we're in in Sin City, Las Vegas the site for tonight's Evolution
President Tags: It's gonna be a sin for you to not see what's going to happen tonight.
Mike Tenay: Jimmy Hart was suppose to appear tonight but last Monday, Jimmy decided to come a little early and made a huge announcement regarding Grand Festival Numbero Uno
(A vid is show of the appearance of Jimmy & the Hart Foundation during Edge)
President Tags: It was a history making night last Monday and tonight will be no different as I will announce more matches for our biggest free-pre-view as the weeks come close to Grand Festival Numbero Uno, including information on the Story of A Champion match
Tenay: Which last week we saw Ken Shamrock advance. Before tonights show The Boogeyman advanced and later tonight it's a match for the last spot in the Story of A Champion match, it will be newcomer Eugene vs. Gangrel
President: But first, last week a new face of management story was leaked and the questions began
Tenay: Then announced on MWC.com last Wednesday, Paul Heyman resigned as GM
President: (In a frustrated tone) Even though I wasn't going to fire him. But anyway, last Thursday it was finally announced that Vince Russo was that new face and has become GM of Evolution
Tenay: (As "I'm Back" plays, Vince Russo makes his way down the ramp) And here's our new General Manager of Evolution, and a great friend of mine, Vince Russo
Vince Russo: Hello everyone, Welcome to Evolution & welcome to the showcase company of professional wrestling, MWC. For some time you've seen me go through the ups & downs of TNA an our ongoing ratings battles, contract disputes and title naming. (Looking at the camera) By the way, NWA you can kiss my ass. (The crowd cheers) But anyway, back to more important things. I've sat back and watch Heyman do mostly nothing for this company but I will make a difference.
(Nick Hogan makes his way toward the ring looking very upset)
President: Oh brother, why is Nick coming out here?
Tenay: He doesn't look very happy...but he has to be a little unhappy with having a new boss. All week they've been bickering with one another and finally making the annoucement of a Elimination 5-on-5 match.
Nick: (Comes in the ring with a mic) I was running the show pretty good Russo until you got here
Russo: You mean letting Abyss run a muck, the President & yourself catching a conchairto, letting 'Taker glide around and scare the hell outta everyone (The crowd laughs), leaving Batista's title shot contender up in the air which by the way ladies and gentlemen that will be solved tonight between Ken Shamrock (the crowd cheers), CM Punk (the crowd gets louder) and the Jeff Hardy! (the crowd gets even louder, some stand and cheer) and....
Nick: (cutting him off) Still a self-centered asshole like my father said you would be. WCW was long ago so don't bring that here
Russo: It's sure as hell better than making this another notch on the Hogan's legacy
Nick: (pissed) You dare talk about my family that way! I swear this match will end all of this.
Russo: Oooo, big words Nick. I have a better idea for the match, Mini-Hogan.
Nick: We already have it as a 5 of your best against 5 of my best elimination style. The loser faces the Undertaker in a Buried Alive Match!
(At the booth)
President: I hope Nick didn't put his foot in his mouth
Tenay: Same here. Most victims of the Buried Alive Match usually don't come back.
(Back in the ring)
Russo: But Undertaker is involved in the match.... Listen, I'll do you one better. Your five losers against my winning team, Team Russo against Team Hogan and the losing leader leaves Evolution. How's that?
Nick: Deal. (They shake hands and stare each other down)
(At the booth)
President: These two are going to explode the night before Grand Festival. I had it as a special function at Radio City Music Hall but I guess I have to get a ring installed. It will be the Rumble at Radio City.
Tenay: Wow, what a announcement. Hogan, Russo, the night before Grand Festival! Up next, another Story Of A Champion Invitational Match...After these commercials

(With Gangrel in the ring, Eugene makes his way to the ring as the show comes back)
President: And we're back with the first match of the night...a match for the last remaining spot in the Story of A Champion match with Eric Bischoff's nephew, Eugene
Tenay: Eugene is one of those special cases but he does have a Hogan-like temper as has well rounded amount a moves
President: Yeah, almost everyone's finisher. The Rock Bottom, People's Elbow, Stone Cold Stunner, Atomic Leg Drop...yeah, real we'll rounded
Tenay: (As the ring bell starts the match) It's for the last spot in the tournament
President: Time to step it up, fellas
Story of A Champion Invitation Match
Eugene vs. Gangrel
(Gangrel has had the upper hand most of the match with the power game but Eugene attempts a comeback, until Gangrel traps Eugene in the corner with repeated shots to the face and head)
President: Eugene is getting pummeled in the corner. Forearm shots by Gangrel..and he's relentless.
Tenay: (As Eugene is "Hulking Up") But Eugene, looking like a man possessed, is taking it all.... shades of Hulk Hogan...
(As the crowd goes YOU as Eugene points, Gangrel throws rights but there blocked several times, he's tossed off the rope and Eugene catches Gangrel with a big boot)
Tenay: It looks like he's preparing for a Atomic Leg Drop!
President: Oh, brother
(Eugene goes Hogan's crowd taunt, bounces off the ropes..... but as he's about to drop the leg, Gangrel looks up as Eugene bounces off the ropes...)
President: He sensed it. 2 short clotheslines by Gangrel. Bounce off the ropes...nice clothesline by Gangrel...but too much taunting to the crowd is going to hurt him...
Tenay: ...Because here comes Eugene
(Eugene grabs Gangrel from behind turns him around and dropkicks him to the face.... He waits until Gangrel gets up...in a dazed turn, Eugene grabs him and....)
Tenay: The Rock Bottom! Rock Bottom by Eugene! (Hebner counts the 3) And Eugene is going to Grand Festival!
President: Nice win by Eugene who's really going to add something special to that match...hope...But he needs to watch out my records show he's never been in a TLC before
Tenay: When there's a title shot involved the best can come out of you.

President: Let's go backstage with Jeremy Borash who has the MWC Light-heavyweight Champion Jack Evans
(The camera comes and pans into Evans face, the crowd automatically boos)
JB: Thanks, Mike. I’m here with Jack Ev…
Evans: JB, you can move along now… Hey Iceman, ooooo ice ice baby! You suck! You shouldn’t even have the Evolution Nights Championship this long…I mean why are you here? Your not real, I’ve busted my ass for years in this business…I held titles all over this planet and you hold one of the titles I want on my mantle.
(Iceman shows up with the Evolution Nights Championship in hand)
Iceman: Mate, if you want my title so bad I’ll put it up but you need to put yours up too. I don't wrestle rookies for free.
Evans: Rookie? Listen, dog I hear everyone call you the future...the MWC Original… but after tonight I’m going to put you under. There's going to be a new movement on Evolution lead by the Innovator Of MWC…B*tch!
(Evans smacks Iceman across the face)
Tenay: It's Evans, Iceman next!

(Iceman makes his way down to the ring ignoring the fans as they cheer)
Tenay: Iceman is determined to destroy Jack Evans after is show of disrespect just now. Last week (clips of the end of Iceman/DDP’s match shown) Iceman won his championship ladder match but was tossed off the ladder into the Spanish announcer’s table by Evans
President: Iceman is a man possessed tonight…. and doesn’t even look like a scratch on him after that fall
Tenay: There's pride on the line here also Mr. President. Iceman is an elder statesman in MWC and he's here to prove he belongs no matter how much new talent come here
(Jack Evans comes down the ramp but Iceman meets him halfway)
President: And there goes Dean…grabs Evans by the hair…and helps him in the ring
Tenay: More like throwing him in….

Tenay: Iceman being cheered on by the crowd but Evans is up…runs to Iceman and attempts a hurricanrana but Iceman reverses with a sit-down powerbomb
(Evans kicks out at 2, Iceman prepares for the Standing Ovation but….)
President: Evans ducks standing enziguri.... Iceman falls...gets up quick but Evans lands a enziguri of his own
Tenay: Quick move by Evans…. Off the ropes and cartwheel moonsault…. into a springboard moonsault….

(Iceman gets up…waits until Evans gets up and spears him…2-count kick out)
President: I’m surprised Evans didn’t stay down…Iceman broke Evans in half
(Iceman starts the 2-enziguri combinations then lands the super kick…he goes for the pin but Evans kicks out)
President: Evans kicks out of the Standing Ovation….
Tenay: Iceman picks him up but Evans lands a jawbreaker…. He’s calling for the 630!
President: Iceman’s jaw is in pain…looks like this is over…
(Evans goes to the top…. stands straight up….)
Tenay: Evans misses! Iceman played possum…. Iceman is up…
President: Kick to the gut…. Double underhook… Boxoffice Smash! Boxoffice Smash by Iceman! (Patrick counts to 3)
Tenay: It’s over! It’s over! Iceman is now the champion! That’s what you get for disrespecting the man who was the original who open the way for you…
President: (As Iceman has his hand raised with his new title) And now he’s the MWC Light-heavyweight & Evolution Nights Champion! (Raven comes out, hits the ring and raises Iceman's hand as the winner)
Tenay: And there’s the captain’s of Vince Russo’s team right there celebrating another win for the Iceman
President: But Raven’s night isn’t over…(As a promo vid is shown) He will face Undertaker & John Cena later in a preview of the Russo / Hogan match on April 7th.
Tenay: But up next it's the match to decide the #1 contender for Batista's Mid-Pacific Championship at Grand Festival...it's Jeff Hardy, Ken Shamrock & CM Punk next as Iceman Dean James is you’re new MWC Light-heavyweight Champion!

(Jeff Hardy makes his way to the ring as his pyro goes off, the crowd goes crazy for him)

(Shamrock enters the arena and the crowd cheers, some chants "Shamrock")
Tenay: Or will it be the Evolution Enforcer, Ken Shamrock?
President: This man has come a long way and lost his shot at the World Heavyweight title last month but here's a chance to redeem himself
(Shamrock, CM Punk & Jeff Hardy are in the middle of the ring.... all of them shake each other's hand)
Tenay: These three have the utmost respect for one another, but which one of these men will face Batista for that right to go to Grand Festival as #1 contender?

(Throughout the match, CM Punk & Ken Shamrock turned the match into a submission fest but Jeff starts to make sure his presence is felt)
Tenay: Jeff is up from outside the ring...
President: Just in time it started to look like a 1-on-1 match
Tenay: Flying clothesline on both CM Punk & Shamrock
President: Where is he going?
Tenay: To the top.... flying crossbody by Jeff and he's on a roll.... but CM
Punk is up...
(CM Punk pulls off a perfect German Suplex on Jeff but Shamrock comes right back and does the same to Punk)
President: Everyone is down...what a match
Tenay: As Jeff is getting up slowly we'll take a commercial break

President: And we're back from commercial... both Jeff Hardy & Ken Shamrock are swinging for the fences in the middle of the ring...Jeff is landing shot after shot..
Tenay: And there's Shamrock right with him...exchange of blows....
Shamrock throws him off the ropes but Jeff counters with a flying elbow
President: Such adrenaline in Jeff... Mule Kick Enziguri by Jeff and it looks like..huh?
Tenay: He's getting help from CM Punk
(Punk crawls over & lays down and helps Jeff with the Poetry In Motion on Shamrock)
Tenay: They’re working beautifully together
President: Do I see a tag team in the future?
Tenay: (As Punk lands a high knee into a bulldog) But first this title shot is up for grabs....
President: Looks like Jeff is issuing orders.... Jeff to the second rope, CM

Tenay: Double leg drop by Jeff Hardy & CM Punk. But I knew this was coming...
(Jeff plays to the crowd a little but CM Punk grabs him and lands a Sambo Suplex and begins to pull back on Jeff's arms)
Tenay: Anaconda Vise latched in! Will Jeff Hardy tap?
President: He's pulling back hard.... Jeff looks like he's done
Tenay: But Shamrock is up...
(Shamrock catches CM Punk with a shining wizard, by everyone's surprise, and as Jeff's already down in pain from the Anaconda Vise, Shamrock begins twisting on Jeff's ankle)
President: Ouch, from the Anaconda Vise to the Ankle Lock, Jeff is in trouble
Tenay: The Originator of The Ankle Lock, Shamrock is twisting and
turning Jeff's ankle out of position
President: But here comes CM Punk...
(Punk gets up and lands haymakers with both hands and feet on Shamrock, who let's go Jeff's ankle)
Tenay: CM Punk with small repeated clotheslines.... CM Punk to the outside apron.... springboard clothesline to Shamrock...the pin...but he kicks out at 2
President: Shamrock very resilient tonight as CM Punk is starting to look frustrated... Punk throws Shamrock off the rope... tries another clothesline but Shamrock ducks... he comes back...ducks another clothesline...
(Shamrock turns and lands a Shuffle Side Kick to CM Punk's face, which echoes through the arena and knocks him down, Jeff stands up and lands a Twist of Fate to Shamrock and puts Shamrock on top of CM Punk)
Tenay: Jeff is limping but he's about to land a double Swaton Bomb
President: CM Punk rolls out the ring but Shamrock gets caught with the Swanton!
Tenay: Amazing reflexes by CM Punk....he's back in the ring...turns Jeff around....Sambo Suplex
President: But he's not going for the Anaconda Vise? He's....
Tenay: Ankle lock by CM Punk.... and Jeff taps, Jeff taps!
President: He's going to fight Batista at Grand Festival...(Batista runs down the ramp) and here he comes
Tenay: He has no energy to fight again...
(Batista comes in the ring exchange blows but Batista gets the upper hand.... throws Punk off the ropes and lands a hard spinebuster)
Tenay: Spinebuster connects by Batista (Batista raises his hands in accomplishment as the fans boo)
President: I don't think CM Punk is prepared for what he's about to encounter at Grand Festival... this is a man who's not going to give up that title
Tenay: He has alot of work cut out for him...
(The camera shows Duece 'N Domino are making their way to the ring with Cherry skating behind them with the car keys)
Tenay: And it looks like we will be paid a visit from our newest tag team, Duece 'N Domino...next!

Tenay: I guess it's Brock & Raven's turn to address the crowd

Raven: These second-rate amateurs (As Cherry tries to pull her boyfriend & brother out the ring) we're light warm-ups but the destruction that will be place onto you won't be the half.... (The lights go dark)
President: I think the Undertaker is here...
(As the lights come back Undertaker & John Cena are in the ring and the fists start to fly!)
President: (In his headphone) Tell Nick Parick to come out here now! Forget later, start this now
Tenay: It's our last match of the night in the second main event...Taker, Cena, Lesnar & Raven next!

(Steiner, CM Punk & Abyss come down to the ring)
President: What the hell? Why is Nick’s team coming out here this is suppose to be an official match here….
(Raven immediately goes after Abyss, runs off the ropes but Abyss catches him and lands the Black Hole Slam)
Tenay: And here comes the cavalry, Stone Cold hits the ring first
(Stone Cold goes toe-to-toe with Steiner… Steiner grabs him to land a belly-to-belly but Stone Cold knees him in the groin…kicks him in the gut)
President: Stone Cold Stunner by Austin!
(CM Punk grabs Batista and starts repeated Muay-Thai knee shots to his head but a Batista block one…grabs his knee)
Tenay: Spinebuster by Batista drops CM Punk for the second time in the night
(Iceman goes after Undertaker… bounces off the ropes, slides under Undertakers legs…)
Tenay: There’s the two Enziguri’s…
President: here comes the standing super kick… caught by the Undertaker… he throws away the leg… Iceman brings it back
Tenay: Shades of Shelton Benjamin with that Suicide Dragon Whip to the face of the Undertaker and knocks him out the ring
(Abyss and Kane are slugging it out… Kane rocks Abyss… but Abyss connects a right to Kane…)
President: It’s a battle of the behemoths as Iceman Dean James, Batista & Stone Cold move back and let them go at it
(They trade blows in the middle of the ring… Abyss lifts Kane)
Tenay: What a freakishly strong man Abyss is… I think he trying to attempt a Shock Treatment but Kane wiggles out his arms…
President: GOOZLE!
Tenay: Chokeslam to Abyss… Abyss rolls out the ring and Nick’s team is on the defensive
President: And Vince’s team led by World Heavyweight Champion Raven. It looks like Vince’s team has everything under control…
Tenay: But up next it's our second and last main event of the night and it’s for the tag team titles Cryme Tyme will face Rated Y2J… Chris Jericho & Edge…next!

Jimmy Lennon Jr.: Welcome to Evolution, ladies and gentlemen, in beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada. It’s time now for our main event of the evening…introducing first to my left…hailing from Brooklyn, New York by way of Bedford-Styvestant…they are the #1 contender’s… Shad Gaspard & JTG… they are Cryme Tyme! (JTG bounces around the ring yelling “Brooklyn”) and to my right…the pride of Canada…they are the reigning Myspace.com World Tag Team Champions…. The Rated R Superstar Edge & The Lionheart Chris Jericho…. Rated Y2J! (The bell rings, JTG & Edge start off with a collar-elbow tie up)
President: Cryme Tyme, it’s all or nothing… you gotta bring it
Tenay: Edge throws JTG off the ropes… shoulder block by Edge… Edge bounces off again but JTG gets up and lands a Spinning Back Elbow
(Both Cryme Tyme & Rated Y2J continue constant tags as Shad & Jericho start slowing down the match…)
Tenay: Jericho lands a Lionsault pin…2-count
President: Shad needs to make a tag…bad
(Jericho picks up Shad…. lands his trademark Enziguri…pin…2-count….)
Tenay: Jericho is stalking Shad…looks like Walls of Jericho coming…
(Jericho grabs Shad by the legs)
President: Shad strong legs kicks Jericho off of him! Shad starts to slide to his corner but Jericho pulls him away from making the tag… And he tags Edge in
(As Jericho holds him Edge drops an elbow to Shad’s back and begins a knee-to-back submission)
President: The crowd starts to chant him on…he’s getting up
Tenay: And he’s up…. Edge-O-Matic which brings big Shad back down….
goes for the pin…. 2-count!
President: Shad’s taken a lot of punishment during this match…wait where’s JTG going
(Edge has Shad back down and has him in a face lock but JTG comes around and behind the refs back goes over and pulls Jericho down from
the apron)
Tenay: The ref didn’t see it…but Jericho is steaming mad…tries to come in but the ref stops him…Edge doesn’t know what happen but it got him to let go of the hold
President: Look at Shad! Shad makes the tag as the ref turns back
around!
(JTG bounces around as the crowd gets excited…. he hits Edge with a standing dropkick…. Jericho comes in the ring and hits another standing dropkick…)
President: JTG looks like a ball of fire!
Tenay: Throws Edge off the ropes…. Leg lariat drops Edge and JTG is on a roll….
(Jericho jumps off the top rope and lands a missile dropkick to JTG’s face)
President: Beautiful missile dropkick but Shad comes…. Big boot! Jericho gets hit with the boot from Shad!
Tenay: Like a freak train out of nowhere…. But Edge lands a spear
(Bret Hart & Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart come out with Jimmy Hart)
President: There’s Jimmy with the Hart Foundation. This crowd is going bananas.
Tenay: Edge looks frozen…and Shad tosses him out the ring
(Jericho comes back in the ring but Shad catches him and picks him up...)
